WILD CARD BITCHES.

Bear with me, things are coming together quite nicely but I need just a little more time. I'm proud of this book now, so I want it perfect! Thanks =)

Book.

I bought an actual Artist Portfolio for my book because it's black how I want it and it also is pretty much made for photography. In the first slot I'm going to put the title of my book and the next page will list the chapters the book will be read horizontally and on the opposite page from the photograph will be a description of the action in the photo. I think I'm going to try to have a vague yet slightly different description of each one but vague enough to the point where each description sounds the same between religions. Where the silver paper is, is where I will have the title of my book slipped in with the background being hands or a very recognizable religious symbol.

Artist Statement.

I want to create a book that shows the differences between the major religions in the world and also their similarities. I want to seperate this into chapters entitled: Prayer, Preach, and Perposterous. In each chapter I will use one photo I've taken of the different subjects (such as Islam's prayer system, Chrisitanity's prayer system, and Buddhisms meditation) In the "Preach" chapter I will show the way these religions spread their message, whether inside their institutions or in the outside world. In the final chapter labeled "Preposterous" ( I will need graphic design help) I was thinking of photoshopping different scenarios in which these religions have either become fundamentalist or (even though it may offend) show the unreality of the specific religions stories or figures. For the "Preposterous" chapter I may just use photos from already documented acts of fundamentalism. The goal of my book is to explore each religions differences, similarities, and extremes.
-The religions I am looking to focus on are : Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Wiccan.

Thinking about taking a religious approach now.

I just want the back to be black. I'm working with someone now to photoshop in some more images of religious symbols.
